artistic policy Showcase / Sioe Gerdd was set up with a constitution and a 5 year action plan in 1999 after two pilot shows in 1997 sponsored by Dinah Pye.

Since April 2000 the Association has grown from strength to strength with over 300 young people passing through our vibrant, intensive and exciting workshops with themes based on Latin & Samba, Rock & Roll and Africa.

The showcase performances at the Coliseum Theatre have proved to be what the young people want and they have enjoyed performing with numerous professional trainers and comperes such as Russell Floyd (Michael Rose from Eastenders), Mike Read (DJ) and Dave Benson-Phillips (Disney Channel).
