|Caligula Disco by Marc Rees|
|First presented in 2000 by Marc Rees / R.I.P.E (Rees International Projects Enterprise)|
"...Burt Reynolds and rugby, flash dance and being queer, posing and pop art...an exceptional , highly entertaining and athletic tour de force"
Marc Rees' solo dance theatre performance is a subtle tango of memory and reconstruction. Incisive, raw and personal, Caligula Disco recollects an experience of growing up in South Wales with a precision, skill and comic style.
Made in collaboration with Angelo Guerreiro as part of "Permanent Prints". Co-produced by Kampnagel and Internationales Sommertheater Festival, Hamburg. Presented with the support of Wales Arts International.
