Graham Williams

Graham got into performing arts reviews when the former Features Editor of the South Wales Evening Post asked him to "have a shot at it": his first gig, in May 1999, was a Ken Dodd concert at Swansea Grand Theatre and he's never looked back, missus. Since then he has reviewed hundreds of live events for the Post, The Stage, The Western Mail, The Big Issue Cymru, Dance Today!, Dancing Times and the theatrical trade magazine Encore - everything from drama, stand-up comedy, contemporary dance, ballet, physical theatre and literary events right through to tribute bands, modern jazz, folk, world music(if you haven't heard a Mongolian throat singer in full voice, you haven't lived)and amateur productions. He also provides regular performance listings and preview features for the Llanelli Star and its various regional editions. Most satisfying moment: being the only journalist present when Catherine Zeta Jones(fresh from her success in the Zorro movie)opened the Arts Wing extension at the Swansea Grand and later reading an "exclusive" report from someone who wasn't even there.
