Strindberg Knew My Father

A comedy where real life descends into modern farce as the Swedish playwright, on the verge of paranoid schizophrenia, loses control of his characters while writing ‘Miss Julie’. After being framed for libel and the rape of a young gypsy girl, the people around him become gross exaggerations of his own making. A contemporary farce for five characters of dark humour and a touch of Magritte from a gifted humourist.’
