Chasing Rainbows

Hijinx Theatre , Riverfront Newport , May 27, 2009
Chasing Rainbows by Hijinx Theatre Busy London can be overwhelming for many people at times, so imagine being lost and with the added vulnerability of having a learning difficulty.

Hayley, an endearing character played with skill by Catherine Morris, might not realise the danger she could be in, but her frantic social worker, Carol (Julia Wyndham) knows all too well what could be out there and starts a fretful search.

Chasing Rainbows is a touching tale about being included – a posh word for “joining in” – and we see Hayley, who is in the capital to read her poem at an inclusion conference, trying to make friends with those around her.
