THE Arts Council for Wales has pledged to become more accountable and transparent to ensure that the future of Welsh cultural life is secure. Members of the body, which has responsibility for funding and managing arts projects across Wales, told the National Assembly’s Post-16 Education Committee that they were committed to ensuring the health of arts and culture.
