So, OK you guys, I get back from a very successful reading of a new play with New York New Dramatists (like you do) and our Solicitor tells me that ACW will only hear our appeal if we give them more information about how we think the new writing initiative was flawed. We've already sent them Olwen Wymark's statement... They won't release anything other than their original report of which Olwen has already said 'there were several central points I found inaccurate'. How the hell do we therefore give them more information? What more information? Olwen's already stated that she was 'not happy with the decision that was reached and was also not satisfied that it had been reached with complete fairness'. She was in the room, we weren't. Bethan Jones has already asked ACB to get the other panel members to go public. What more can Made In Wales do? ACW obviously hope that if they string it out long enough we'll just go away... Our Solicitor says that, given these circumstances, we might have to forget an internal ACW Appeal... So, we go to law? That ain't cheap, nor quick.. . Meanwhile, well, Good Luck to the rest of you, especially Steel Wasp! |
