![]() The magic and mystery of Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic Alice in Wonderland has been superbly translated from the page to the stage. With a company of 64 dancers, full orchestra and live, staged magic all part of the show, English National Ballet’s Alice in Wonderland promises to be one of this season’s most magical experiences. Wales Millennium Centre’s Programming and Communications Director, Fiona Allan, says, “Don’t be late like the White Rabbit! Book your tickets for a fun-filled magical journey down the rabbit hole with Alice and the full company and orchestra of the English National Ballet. This is a delightful and imaginative production suitable for all ages, with choreography by Derek Deane, gorgeous designs by Sue Blane and a wonderful Tchaikovsky score specially arranged by Carl Davis.” Alice’s adventure begins when she follows the White Rabbit into a world of enchantment and stumbles across a crazy tea-party with the Mad Hatter and his friends, a sinister Corridor of Doors and an enchanting Pool of Tears. Alice finds a magical Garden of Living Flowers, meets the King and Queen of Hearts and witnesses a curious Caucus-race with an extraordinary cast of animals. Tickets for Alice in Wonderland range from £5-£30 and will show at WMC from 17-21 April.
