ACQUA NERO BY MEREDYDD BARKER

“In this game nobody cares who you are, so you can be whoever you want to be”

The Murazzo family watch as the life they knew begins to unravel before them. Letters arrive, written in a secret language and threaten to reveal a deadly scret. Isabel has kept the letters hidden but will she now unlock the secret that could destroy her family? Packed full of intrigue, we watch as secrets and lies weave their way back into the life of the Murazzo family. Sinister histories threaten to be revealed and identities are questioned as we switch from World War 2 to modern day Wales.

Artistic Director Simon Harris takes the helm for Acqua Nero, Sgript Cymru’s final production, this is the ideal opportunity to see Sgript Cymru’s final piece of drama before they merge with the Sherman Theatre.

“ Sharp and clever, highlighting Sgript Cymru's dedication to new writing." (Metro)

Acqua Nero boasts a strong and recognisable cast including Mike Hayward, Daniel Hawksford, Simon Nehan, Dean Rehman, Philip Ralph Richard Elis and Eiry Hughes,

“ Mike Hayward gives a fantastic performance in the lead supported by a commendable cast” (Metro)
