The Price
|
This Spring COMPASS THEATRE COMPANY is touring THE PRICE by Arthur Miller to The Riverfront on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 May at 7.30pm.
From Arthur Miller, one of the world’s greatest playwrights and the writer of Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, A View from a Bridge and All My Sons, comes a compelling and deeply moving drama.
THE PRICE is set in the attic of a Manhattan brownstone in 1968. Solomon, a 90-year-old antiques dealer, finds himself in the middle of an uneasy reunion between two long-estranged brothers. The adult lives of these brothers have taken very different turns and rumbling away are the echoes of a long gone disaster – the Wall Street crash.
For Artistic Director NEIL SISSONS, THE PRICE is his 58th show for Compass and follows Hard Times, Moby Dick, The Seagull, The Rivals, The Winter’s Tale and Death Of A Salesman. 2007 also sees the Company celebrating over 25 years of touring.
Prices to see this literary classic are £10 – £12.50. Please contact the Box Office on 01633 656757 for more details.
