Ghosted Rhaglen Theatr Mewn Addysg gyfranogol ar gyfer Blwyddyn 4,5 a 6
Participatory Theatre in Education programme for Years 4,5 & 6

Daeth Theatr Powys nôl i glwydo i’r Ganolfan Ddrama yn Llandrindod yn ystod yr hydref llynedd. Dros gyfnod o 35 o flynyddoedd mae’r Cwmni wedi creu rhaglenni Theatr mewn Addysg (ThmA) ar gyfer y sir a chynhyrchu dramau i’w perfformio yng nghymunedau Powys a thu hwnt. Ers y dechrau mae lle a llais pobl ifanc ynghyd â rôl y dychymyg yn eu datblygiad yn ganolog i egwyddorion artistig ac addysgol y Cwmni.

Josh yw conglfaen Ghosted, bachgen yn tyfu fyny yn y canolbarth. Mewn twnnel concrit tamp dan Rheilffordd Calon Cymru mae Josh yn gwrthdaro â phlentyn arall. Plentyn o bell i ffwrdd sy’n brwydro mewn lle llawer mwy brawychus.

Mae Ghosted yn tarfu ar y wyneb a’r tawelwch, yn tanio dychymyg ac yn ysgogi pobl ifanc i archwilio hanfod eu byd a chreu yr ‘hunan’ sy’n bodoli yn hyn o fyd.

Ghosted sy’n dechrau arlwy ThmA o’r ganolfan newydd ar ffurf rhaglen gyfranogol diwrnod llawn.

Theatr Powys moved back into its historical base The Drama Centre in Llandrindod Wells last autumn. For 35 years the Company has produced original Theatre in Education (TIE) programmes and touring plays for the schools and communities of Powys and wider Wales. Young people, their engagement with the world and the role of the imagination in their development, has always been central to the artistic and educational practice of the Company.

Ghosted is a new, full day English participatory TIE programme and the first to be produced from the new Drama Centre.

There is a freedom in ghostliness, you break the surface of life
and let the underside come out…. It’s a new dimension bringing
in time, reconnecting people…..

Ghosted concerns Josh, a boy growing up in mid Wales. In a damp old railway culvert on the Heart of Wales line, Josh collides forcibly with a child from far away, struggling in a radically more fearful situation.

Ghosted breaks the surface and the silence and propels young people imaginatively and immediately to explore the nature of their world and create the ‘self’ who will live in it.

Os hoffech weld Ghosted yna ffoniwch Sue Early ar 01597 824444 i archebu lle. Mi fydd y rhaglen yn dechrau yn yr ysgolion tua 10 y bore.
