Beyond the Barricade, now in its 8th record-breaking year, is back with a brand new show for 2007! The UK's leading musical theatre concert is at Swansea Grand Theatre on Tuesday 26th June.
Beyond the Barricade is a must-see for fans of musical theatre. The show features songs from the world's greatest musicals including Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Tell Me on a Sunday, Phantom Of the Opera, We Will Rock You, Chicago, Blood Brothers, and many more.
The cast are no strangers to musical theatre themselves. David Fawcett and Andy Reiss are former principal performers for Les Miserables, and Claire Marlowe and Katie Leeming have starred in numerous high profile productions in the West End and touring productions nationwide.
Beyond the Barricade began in 1995 as a charity fundraising concert for Mencap, and the show has since built up a strong reputation for its slick, no nonsense style - giving the songs a bold concert format - but with the conviction and intention to portray the material as if the audience were watching the original performance.
