E x p e r i m e n t i c a 0717-21 October 2007 Chapter, Cardiff (Wales, UK) Open Call for Submissions We are inviting Wales based artists to submit proposals for Experimentica, Chapter’s annual festival of Live and Time Based Arts. We are also looking for work from outside Wales for a limited programme of international guest artists. For the past six years Experimentica has been an opportunity for recent graduates and experienced artists alike to present innovative, boundary defining new works within an international context. The festival provides a focus for debate on issues surrounding performance and time based media and the opportunity to take risks and experiment. Events will take place across the wide range of studio, cinema and public spaces at Chapter, or at site specific locations. All works will be selected on the basis of written proposals. Please include: - a descriptive statement of intended work/artists statement outlining specific concerns and interests. - technical requirements and details of most appropriate venue or location - any supporting materials (photos/slides/dvds/cds etc.) - full contact details Chapter is able to provide technical support and resources for the production and exhibition of selected works as well as provide accommodation in Cardiff for the duration of the festival.
