A Viennese Whirl offers audiences an enchanting evening of singing and soaring violin melodies of some of the most popular works from Viennese composers including Kreisler, Lehar, Kalman and the Waltz King, Johann Strauss. A carefully selected musical cast comprising of a fine pianist, soprano, tenor and solo violinist has been assembled for this amusing and entertaining evening hosted by Brendan Wheatly, who introduces the music of the Viennese greats in his own inimitable style. Moishes Bagel Thursday 22 November • 7.30pm • Tickets: TBC Join us for an evening of klezmer and Balkan music from some of Scotland’s finest musicians, an intoxicating, life-affirming mix of Eastern European dance music, Middle Eastern rhythms and virtuoso performances. Moishe’s Bagel make no claim for authenticity, preferring to create their own style. Mixing Jewish and Eastern European influences with rhythms from around the world, the sum becomes greater than the parts. It is an interesting mix of solid piano and accordion notes, with sobbing fiddle and bass microtones, topped with dazzling percussion. Black Tie and Frocks – Christmas Party Friday 7 December • 7.00pm • Tickets: £30.00 Dine and dance the night away with Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band, as we celebrate Christmas in style… It’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas, and plans are already underway for this years ‘Black Tie and Frocks’ Christmas Party. As a previous guest of ours, we wanted you to be the first to hear about this years’ party, and provide you with a special priority booking opportunity. Once again we have an enchanting ‘Black Tie and Frocks’ night, with fine food and sassy soul music. We start the evening with a delicious three course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, Christmas crackers, silly hats and much more.
