31st July- Treasure Island 5pm
Quantum Theatre is staging a production of the much-loved classic 'Treasure Island'. Ideal for children and families - a fun, thrilling and swashbuckling journey with pirates, hidden treasure and of course Long John Silver
Set in the days of sail ships and pirates, Treasure Island tells of the adventures of Jim Hawkins and his search for the buried treasure of the notorious pirate Captain Flint. In this new adaptation by Michael Whitmore the aim is to be faithful to the book whilst creating a lively action-packed show for all the family.
Quantum Theatre is Britain’s foremost educational theatre company producing children’s and family entertainment to audiences across the UK and Ireland.
August 18th 7pm - The fantastical adventures and curious quest of Pericles Prince of Tyre take out ‘by theatre Powys and mid-Powys Youth Theatre’
The Mid-Powys Youth Theatre and Theatre Powys join us for their summer performance project. Two weeks rehearsal will culminate in an atmospheric, magical promenade performance in the theatre and around the farm. Pericles will continue its run at the Victorian Festival in Llandrindod Wells.

The Devils Violin
Renowned storyteller Daniel Morden joins forces with musicians Oliver Wilson-Dickson (violin), Edward Jay (accordion/guitar) and Sarah Moody (cello) to perform long forgotten Gypsy tales from Wales and elsewhere with music inspired by the passion and energy of the Gypsy tradition. The performance is a dynamic melding of traditional music and story, celebrating the culture of the Roma.
Suitable for adults and children over 10.

Penlanole Orchard hosts our annual Charity Event which includes apple experts and orchard doctors and a medley of performance, music, presentations, exhibitions, drinks, food and much more. Apple Day raises funds for local charities and has become a much-loved community gathering. This year’s Apple Day promises to be as fun filled as ever |
