Welsh Independent Dance in partnership with Widelode invites you to a screening of dance for camera works created by ten Wales-based artists during a one-week exploration residency.The course which took place in May provided participants with an opportunity to experiment with new technologies and video equipment with guidance from mentors, Sean Tuan John and two directors from Widelode. The response to the course from participants has been extremely positive so WID plans to schedule another Dance for Camera course in 2008. The screening of the work produced from this year’s course will take place at Chapter, Cardiff in Cinema 2 on Thursday 23 August at 4.30pm. The screening will last an hour. Entry is free of charge but please reserve your ticket at Chapter box office on 029 20304400.
