For the first time Frank Vickery comes to the Beaufort Theatre with his classic comedy ‘A Night on the Tiles’.Frank Vickery has been making audiences laugh for 20 years now and has earned his reputation as one of Wales’ best loved playwrights. This autumn, following the huge success of ‘Granny Annie’ which played to sold out performances across Wales, comes a major revival of his comedy ‘A NIGHT ON THE TILES’. Gareth and Shirley’s wedding has not got off to the greatest of starts. Grandad doesn’t know who is marrying who, the bride is three months pregnant, Kenneth is acting really strange, which is leaving poor Doris stuck in the middle of one of the biggest family secrets ever! Starring legendary Welsh entertainer Stan Stennett as Grandad, a true all round entertainer, whose career has spanned many aspects of the entertainment industry. Ian ‘H’ Watkins who comes direct from London’s West End and pop super group ‘Steps’, and Frank Vickery who is widely regarded as Wales’ favourite playwright. This autumn Vickery reunites with Producer Mark Whitney to bring this classic comedy to the stage.
