Exclusive! English Language National Theatre for Wales gets the OK |
ACW are looking to appoint a Chair and Board members for the new English Language National Theatre for WalesAt a conference in Aberystwyth today (Friday Oct 5 2007) organised by Department of Theatre Film and Television, Aberystwyth University, discussing national theatres in UK and Ireland, Sandra Wynne, Senior Arts Development Officer (Drama) at the Arts Council of Wales announced that ACW will shortly be advertising for a Chair and board members for the new English language national theatre of Wales. Calling on people to forsake "criticising from the sidelines" she urged anyone with a passion for the idea of a non building-based English language national theatre to consider putting themselves forward for this key post.
