![]() Though most famous for his comedy impressions, sketch shows and hosting Family Fortunes, Les has more recently spread out into acting roles. He has appeared in the TV drama series Holby City, Brookside, Casualty, New Street Law and The Bill amongst others. He also made a show stopping appearance in the first series of Ricky Gervais? Extras playing an exaggerated version of himself. In The Servant of Two Masters, Carlo Goldoni?s classic 18th century Italian comedy, Les plays the role of Truffaldino. This servant for hire believes he can juggle two masters, reaping the reward of two wages and two meals a day. However he soon finds that the demands put upon on are greater than he expected. Keeping both masters happy and apart from each other takes a remarkable amount of deception and subterfuge, not to mention disguises!
