THEATR IOLO TAKES TO THE ROAD AND AIR

Grimm Tales, a new production for junior schools by Theatr Iolo has been getting excellent feedback from teachers and pupils in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The cast, including Nadine Beaton, Stephen Hickman, Hannah McPake and Jack Reynolds bring the original versions of Snow White and Hansel and Gretel to life.
It was the best show I have seen as a teacher and the children were certainly the most entertained I’ve seen. Really enjoyed it and the subject matter was different, which engaged the children further as they knew the stories.
Christ the King Primary School
The production is currently visiting a number of venues throughout Wales supported by the Night Out Scheme and has now been invited to Durham County where the cast will be performing to community audiences.
And just as temperatures start to fall below freezing point in Moscow, Kevin Lewis will be arriving to give performances of his one man show Marcos. Theatr Iolo was one of four companies in the UK to perform at the Zelfest/Big Break Festival in Zelenograd and Moscow.
