Cinderella at the Wyeside Arts Centre

Cinderella at the Wyeside Arts Centre Cinderella gan/by Charles Way

20th Anniversary 1987-2007

“Tonight I can forget about everything can’t I? Here with you – dancing beneath the stars. Like a dream, a crazy wish made real.”

This Cinderella has music at its very core. Whilst we meet all of the traditional figures that we have come to know and love, the play features the unprecedented appearance of court composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Wolfy’s music – both live and in full orchestral recording – intermingles with new composition, weaving the magic of the story from its lonely desperate beginnings to its joyous conclusion.

“Music is the key that unlocks the beating heart from the chest.”
