National Youth Theatre appoints new Artistic Director for 2008

Award winning director Tim Baker has been appointed Artistic Director of the National Youth Theatre of Wales from 2008
Tim's credentials for leading the National Youth Theatre of Wales (NYTW) are first class and he is keen to build upon the Youth Theatre's reputation for creating large -scale bilingual theatre that can delight, provoke, excite, challenge and inspire.
Speaking of his appointment Tim says:
"This is a rare and exciting opportunity to continue to build on the pioneering work of the NYTW and to bring my many years of creating theatre both for and with young people to a national perspective. I look forward to the challenge of creating a collaborative ethos, together with an appetite for the highest standards in innovative theatre which will be the foundation for the future of NYTW" |
