Local Youth Theatre Goes Global
Over the last six months, 30 young people of the Amman Valley have been creatively working their socks off in preparation for their first international youth theatre production “STRANGERS”.

With the support of Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company and Heritage Lottery Fund Wales, this very talented and committed group of young people between the ages of 13 and 18 have worked alongside Welsh creative professionals to write their own play about the history of the area and their identity, create their own original film, communicate regularly through webcam conferencing and blogging with partner youth groups in Slough and New Zealand and are now preparing to perform the finished product.

The production will take place at Ammanford Miners’ Theatre during February Half Term on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 February at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on the box office number 0845 2263508/09/10.
