TV and theatre favourite GARY WILMOT leads a highly talented cast in a spectacular brand new production of HALF A SIXPENCE which comes to Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) from 24 to 29 March 2008 and features classic songs such as Flash Bang Wallop, If The Rain’s Got To Fall and of course Half a Sixpence.A fantastic company of actors, singers, dancers and musicians which include Chris Crosby from BBC’s Any Dream Will Do? and Caroline Graham who starred in Channel 4’s Musicality programme re-create the heart warming story of Arthur Kipps, an orphan, who lives and works with other apprentices for the cruel draper, Mr. Shalford. After learning that he is inheriting a fortune, Arthur tries to join the upper class and gets engaged to the wealthy Helen Walsingham. Soon, though, Arthur realises that his true love is his childhood sweetheart, Ann. A tale of love and laughter for the whole family to enjoy!
