Theatr Elli Takes Giant Steps!

Theatr Elli Takes Giant Steps! Continuing their mission to bring West End-quality children’s theatre to a town near you, Carmarthenshire Theatres play host to a friendly giant in Theatr Na N’og’s Me, A Giant, at Llanelli’s Theatr Elli, March 26.

When Jack plants a seed in his back garden the unlikeliest of friendship grows. He meets a giant but it’s not like the one in his storybook! After Rhys, Jack’s smelly big brother, chops down the Giant’s beanstalk the adventure begins. Can Jack help the Giant get home again and find the strength to become a hero? Along the way, Jack encounters some familiar faces, including the Troll from the Three Billy Goats Gruff and the witch from Hansel And Gretel - but are they really who they seem at first glance?

Theatr Na N’og have been providing first-class theatre that captures young minds and imaginations for twenty five years. Funded by The Arts Council Of Wales, written by Roger Williams, directed by Phylip Harries, with the musical talents of Greg Palmer behind the compositions, this excellent musical play, based on the well-known tale of Jack and The Beanstalk, is certain to delight five to seven year olds, imparting the added message of friendship and first impressions.
