Wales’s much loved theatre company, Mappa Mundi present The Importance of Being Earnest at Sherman, Cardiff on 14 – 15 May in a brand new and perfectly honed production that has delighted audiences across Wales.Mappa Mundi, famous for their adaptations of historical classics, give Oscar Wilde’s most popular and razor witted social comedies, their own unique twist. Based around Jack and Algy, who are in love with Gwendolen and Cecily, who in turn both believe themselves to be in love with the non-existent Earnest, The Importance of Being Earnest is the ultimate satirical farce with hilarious one-liners and extraordinary twists. Directed by Mappa Mundi founder member Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones, Wales based theatre company Mappa Mundi bring together some of Wales’s best comedic actors including Christine Pritchard, Mali Tudno Jones, Rhian Jones and Mappa Mundi regular Lynne Seymour.
