Wealthy socialites Amanda and Elyot have divorced and remarried new spouses. They meet by chance on their respective honeymoons and the passion that engulfed their relationship is re-ignited. Fleeing to Paris, it is not long before they discover what drove them apart the first time round. An overwhelming success when it was first produced this sparkling masterpiece shone through the last century and continues to be one of the most performed plays in this one. The Summer Playhouse shares a fantastic star cast across both plays. Steven Pinder and Kevin Pallister star in both Deadly Game and Private Lives and are best known for their roles in Brookside and Emmerdale respectively. In Deadly Game they are joined by Karen Drury, best known for her role as Steven’s long suffering wife in Brookside, Susannah Farnham. In Private Lives they are joined by Sara Crowe (Acorn Antiques:The Musical) and newcomer Emily Pennant-Rae.
