Heritage Minister welcomes new CEO of Arts Council of Wales

Heritage Minister, Rhodri Glyn Thomas welcomed the appointment of Nick Capaldi to the post of Chief Executive Officer of the Arts Council of Wales and said it was excellent news:
"The Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Wales is a vitally important job for a nation that values its culture. Nick has the experience and vision needed to take forward the exciting and ambitious plans that we have for cultural development in Wales and I look forward to working with him".
Mae’r Gweinidog dros Dreftadaeth wedi croesawu penodi Nick Capaldi yn Brif Weithredwr Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru, gan ddweud ei fod yn newyddion arbennig:
“Mae swydd Prif Weithredwr Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru yn eithriadol o bwysig i wlad fel hon sy’n gwerthfawrogi ei diwylliant. Mae gan Nick y profiad a'r weledigaeth sydd eu hangen arnom i symud y cynlluniau cyffrous ac uchelgeisiol sydd gennym o ran datblygu diwylliant yng Nghymru yn eu blaen, ac rwyf yn edrych ymlaen at weithio gydag ef. |
