FREE Open Weekend at The Riverfront...this weekend!

The Riverfront is gearing up for the annual Open Weekend on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July between 11am and 4pm, and can promise loads of activities, arts and performance of all kind throughout the weekend.
Visitors will get the chance to get backstage, listen to live music, try out various exciting arts and crafts and watch local talents perform – all for FREE! The Riverfront Café will be serving delicious food and drinks and you can just turn up – no need to book!

On Saturday

- Chalk drawing (outside The Riverfront - quayside)
- Face painting
- Youth Theatre performances
- Tours of The Riverfront, including backstage
- Pentalk Lab workshop performances
- Circus performances
- Streetdance performances
On Sunday
- Stalls
- Art activities for children
- Chalk drawing (outside The Riverfront - quayside)
- Face painting
- Community Youth Theatre performances
- Tours of The Riverfront, including backstage
- Exhibition launch
- The Voice/Riverfront sessions with local musicians performing on the terrace - Line up includes Benjamin Squibs, John C (TBC), Blind River Scare, Feedback from and Empty Room, Jon Lilygreen (TBC), Andrew Jones, D’Taba and Xplizit Dhols.
- Newport Rocks (three local bands who have been working within the recording studio will be showcasing their talents)
