A Show of Good Luck!

A Show of Good Luck! The dynamic duo of Daniel Morden and Oliver Wilson-Dickson returns to the Living Willow Theatre on Saturday August 23 with a Grimm fairytale show, The Luck Child. Skilfully blending music, sound, song and spoken word, the accomplished storyteller and talented fiddler perform with passion and humour.

Daniel and Oli have been working together for over 10 years, touring across the UK, appearing at over 100 schools and telling tales to great acclaim at The Barbican Centre, Young At Art Children's Festival, Belfast, Beyond The Border International Storytelling Festival, Festival at The Edge, Shropshire and The Hay Festival. They come to the Living Willow Theatre fresh from a 10 show run on the Olivier stage of the National theatre, where they appeared alongside Jan Blake and Kouame Sereba to audiences of 600 per show!

In The Luck Child, the magical world of story is made new again before your eyes. Everything you could hope for is here...an impossible quest, strange encounters, sudden jumps, dramatic twists, moments of high drama and low comedy. Oli's fiddling is fantastic, Daniel's tale-telling terrific. Expect verbal gymnastics and aural pyrotechnics suitable for the whole family!

Catch the show at The Living Willow Theatre on Saturday 23 August at 4pm, with a bar and tea bar available from 3pm. There will be a barbecue after the show. Tickets cost £8 and £4 and can be purchased through the theatre box office on 01597 811487 or at one of our ticket outlets
