StageDaze Can’t stop the Beat!

Adult and child perfomers are being given the chance to work with top professionals in theatre, tv, film and radio in a new series of workshops organised by StageDaze Theatre School.
To start the series off, StageDaze Masters Series are welcoming the stars from the smash-hit West End production of ‘Hairspray’ Leanne Jones and Ben James Ellis to Cardiff on Sunday 5th October.
Leanne (Tracy Turnblad) and Ben (Link Larkin) will be teaching the cool moves and grooves from this Olivier award winning show, as well as answering questions on their time in the show and sharing a few secrets along the way!
Nick Mills, StageDaze Artistic Director said “We are delighted to be able to bring stars such as Leanne and Ben to South Wales to give the hugely talented residents here the chance to work with these west-end professionals – a chance usually only available by getting a part in a west end show!"
TV viewers of BBC’s ‘Any Dream Will Do’ might well recognise Ben, as he was one of the finalists in that competition before gaining the part of Link Larkin, the smooth heart-throb of the Corny Collins Show in Hairspray – played by Zac Efron in the 2007 film. Leanne is also no stranger to TV, having appeared recently as a guest artist on Sky One’s ‘Hairspray the School Musical’.
