We are getting together a short experimental work based on a new short story about the part truth part legend of a monster found in a lake on Snowdon in the Edwardian times. It was was pulled out and beaten to death. It is about the effects of brutality on both the creature and the men and waste and the loss of innocence. We are using a live musician so it becomes an exercise in rhythms with very spare dialogue, a few words in English and a few in Welsh. We need 10 male actors. It will rehearse on October 15th/16th and 23/24 at the Bristol Old Vic and the 22nd in the Tobacco Factory. It is performed along with other work at the Tobacco Factory on Sunday 26th 8.00 pm. It would be very good to have a few Welsh speakers with us, so if you want to join us you need only turn up maybe for one of the rehearsals but even on the 26th and we would appreciate your presence. up None of us are paid sadly!
