October 25-26, 2008Dance, Energy, Creativity, Fun This is the chance for 10 to 18 year olds to tackle ballet and contemporary dance from a fresh, athletic perspective – but strictly boys only! Run by the Royal Academy of Dance and Diversions, Boy Only! is a weekend of classes and workshops led by male professional dancers at the Diversions Dance House, Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. The weekend costs £20 for two full days and is open to all 10 to 18 year old boys and young men whatever their previous experience of dance – street dance, ballroom, hip hop, ballet, tap, contemporary or none. Ann Sholem, Artistic Director, Diversions, said; “Boys Only! is a unique opportunity for male dancers to share their enthusiasm for dance. They’ll run, jump and spin in a weekend full of new challenges and lots of fun.
