Another Vickery play on tour Following on the heels of Octobers ‘sell-out’ performance at the Parc and Dare, Treorchi of Emlyn Williams’ Druid’s Rest The next production in Michael Kelligan’s continuing On The Edge series of script help performances will be a revival of an early work by yet another leading Welsh playwright Frank Vickery: Love Forty, the play that resulted in Vickery being dubbed the Alan Ayckbourn of The Valleys.

The play is a cleverly constructed, sensitive and well observed overview of marriage but as with any Vickery play laughter is never very far away. The play with James Ashton, Naomi Martell, Anwen Williams will be directed by Michael Kelligan following his very successful opening production of Paper Flowers, who also plays the part of Gary.

The performance will be at The Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff Wed 12 Nov 8pm tickets £3 on the door. The Riverfront Newport Thu 13 Nov 7.45 £4 and Coleg Morganwg Theatre Tonypandy Fri 14 Nov 7.30 £3
