Dance and bubbly to bid farewell to Silver Anniversary Year Diversions, Dance Company of Wales is bidding farewell to its Silver Anniversary year with an evening of celebration, bubbly and dance.

The Company is getting the festive season started at the Dance House at Wales Millennium Centre on Friday, November 28 at 8pm

Artistic Director Ann Sholem said the Dance Company of Wales had enjoyed a remarkable year with performances across the whole of Wales, the Donald Gordon Stage, WMC and visits to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London and the Grand Opera House, Belfast.

Work further afield by Wales’ busiest international touring company has included performances from Athens, Milan and Bilbao to Cork and Dusseldorf.

She said; “The evening will be the chance for audiences to enjoy a glass or two of bubbly and watching the future developing with Departure Terminal, as the Diversions’ dancers turn choreographers for the evening with some bright, experimental work.”

The Departure Terminal performance starts at 8pm and the dance lasts for around 50 minutes.
