![]() Set in a large country house complete with secret passageways, a group of people each with a secret, and a killer in their midst. When Clarissa discovers a dead body in her drawing-room, she tries to dispose of it before her Foreign Office diplomat husband returns home with a government VIP in tow. Equipped with an over active imagination, Clarissa finds a real life murder a little too hard to handle and having persuaded her houseguests to help her, it soon becomes apparent that the dead man was not unknown to everyone amongst them. As the web of deceit starts to unravel, Clarissa pulls her friends into a desperate race to unveil the murderer and solve the mystery before the police arrive. The talented and experienced cast includes Denis Lil who is best know for his role as Mr Rose in The Royal, Melanie Gutteridge (PC Emma Keane in The Bill), Catherine Shipton, famous for her long-standing and acclaimed role as Duffy in Casualty, Soldier Soldier star Ben Nealon, Bruce Montague (Butterflies) and the ever-popular Mark Wynter. The Agatha Christie Theatre Company’s previous successes include The Unexpected Guest, And Then There Were None and The Hollow. Born in 2006 through an agreement between Bill Kenwright and Agatha Christie Ltd, the company has gone from strength to strength presenting the original stage plays from the best-selling fiction author of all time.
