ANDY CAVE
LEARNING TO BREATHE
Learning to Breathe is the compelling story of Andy Cave, one of the UK’s top climbers and a figurehead for British mountaineering. Starting out as a miner in the Grimethorpe colliery, Andy’s transition to internationally acclaimed mountaineer is an astonishing tale of tremendous courage and ambition. With his gritty insight into the turmoil of the 1984-5 miners’ strike, Andy’s journey from the blackened grime of the pit to the breath-taking Himalayan summits is both moving and startling. Andy talks about his life including his traumatic expedition to the perilous North Face of Changabang in the Himalayas, during which his climbing partner paid the ultimate price - one of the most stirring tales of modern mountaineering. A tremendous human journey set against a backdrop of stunning images of the Himalaya, Patagonia and Alaska.

DEAD CAT BOUNCE
Boing! A dead cat bounce is a term used by traders in the finance industry to describe a pattern where a spectacular decline in the price of a stock is immediately followed by a small temporary rise before resuming its downward movement. It is derived from the notion that "even a dead cat will bounce if it falls from a great height".
Dead Cat Bounce ponders the modern world, the economic and cultural crisis and the possible futures suggested by the “experts”. This hilarious onstage think-tank culminates in a thorough, bizarre and surreal guide as to how a person might survive and thrive in the uncertain and scary world that is the future.
Directed by John Hardwick. Featuring Paul Davies and Philip Ralph.
Mae Dead Cat Bounce yn ystyried y byd modern, yr argyfwng economaidd a diwylliannol a’r dyfodol posibl sy’n cael ei awgrymu gan yr “arbenigwyr”. Mae’r felin drafod llwyfan ddoniol hon yn diweddu gyda chanllaw drwyadl, rhyfedd a swrreal ynglŷn â sut y gallwn oroesi a ffynnu yn y byd ansicr a dychrynllyd sy’n ffurfio’n dyfodol. CARDIGAN THEATRE
PUSS IN BOOTS
Cardigan Theatre present their annual Christmas show. Puss in Boots is a traditional British pantomime written by a collaboration of three playwrights known as TLC Creations. All the traditional elements of a panto are here - a principal boy, a voluptuous dame and a struggle between good and evil. There are lots of jokes, a bit of slapstick and, as a bonus, a rather mischievous talking cat.
Jack the miller's son has been left with just the family cat in his father's will and although he has great ambitions, it is unlikely he will amount to much! Things soon change with the arrival of his Auntie Hettie and the revelation that Puss can talk and looks pretty fetching in a pair of boots! Soon Jack, Auntie and Puss are embroiled in a complex scheme to persuade the King and Queen that Jack (masquerading as the Marquis of Carabas) is suitable husband material for the beautiful Princess. But first they will have to contend with a jealous noble suitor, a pair of dastardly henchmen and a hideous shape-shifting Ogre!
Eleni bydd Cardigan Theatre yn cyflwyno’r pantomeim Puss in Boots. Mae ganddi ddigon o elfennau arferol y pantomeim traddodiadol, y jôcs, y chwerthin, a chath ddrygionus sy’n gallu siarad…! Dewch i fwynhau’r sbort!

Y GOFALWR
Cyfieithiad Elis Gwyn (brawd y diweddar Wil Sam) o un o ddramau mawr Harold Pinter.
The Caretaker oedd y cyntaf o ddramau Pinter i lwyddo’n artistic a masnachol, gyda’r canlyniad o’i wneud yn enw cyfarwydd trwy Brydain. Roedd The Caretaker yn lwyddiant ysgubol gyda chynulleidfoedd, a derbyniodd adolygiadau ffafriol dros ben gan adolygwyr y cyfnod. Dros y blynyddoedd, mae’r ddrama wedi parhau i dderbyn clod a denu cynulleidfaoedd. Mae wedi ei haddasu ar gyfer teledu a ffilm, yn ogystal a chael ei pherfformio’n fyd eang.
Fe lwyfanwyd y cyfieithiad yma gan Elis Gwyn nôl yn y saithdegau gan Gwmni Theatr Cymru ac roedd yna ganmol mawr i'r cynhyrchiad. Bu farw Pinter yn Rhagfyr 2008, ac mae’n briodol, felly, fod Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru’n cynhyrchu Y Gofalwr fel coffâd iddo.

PLUCK: THE TITANIC SHOW
Directed by Cal McCrystal
Better late than never! Postponed from 2009 when an iceberg didn’t hit them but a snowstorm in Swindon did, please give a warm welcome to Pluck, the classical string trio with a seriously silly side. They present a tribute to the Titanic musicians who played on until the end. Nobody knows what filled the days of those brave few before tragedy struck...
So Pluck have made it up!
Sensitive lead violinist Wally and brutally sincere multi-instrumentalist W'Theodore are joined aboard the fated vessel by stowaway Roger, a strangely small yet enthusiastic young man. As they entertain the guests on board, tensions build as Wally and W'Theodore begin to suspect that Roger is not quite the man he claims to be…
Featuring a real iceberg, one massive porthole and the biggest peanut you may ever see - and NO Celine Dion!!
Wedi ei ohirio ers 2009, rhowch groeso nôl i Pluck!
Mae cerddoriaeth ac anrhefn yn cyfuno wrth i driawd llinynnol mwyaf dwl y byd dalu teyrnged i’r cerddorion hynny sy’n enwog am chwarae hyd y diwedd. Does neb yn gwybod pa bethau oedd yn llanw dyddiau’r dynion dewr cyn i drasiedi codi ei phen....
Felly mae Pluck wedi dychmygu’r cwbl!

It’s up to the audience cast their vote by raising a sausage or a samosa card to choose Eve’s perfect Adam...
