Alice In Wonderland Comes To Theatr Elli
|
The ‘norm’ becomes slightly askew at Llanelli’s Theatr Elli in SA15’s latest production, the stage adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s most famous tale Alice In Wonderland, 25 – 27 February.
A March Hare, the White Rabbit, a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and a crazy tea party in which The Mad Hatter and friends throw insults at each other are just some of the peculiar inhabitants that Alice discovers after falling down a hole. Join her madcap adventures as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Roles are plentiful, including three Cheshire Cats and dozens of other wonderfully wacky characters. This fast-paced adaptation features classic Disney songs as ‘I'm Late’, ‘The Un-birthday Song’ and ‘Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah’.
Lewis Carroll’s eccentric tale has been delighting generations in both book, stage and film format and with Tim Burton’s new movie version, starring Johnny Depp, set to be a box office smash when it comes out on general release in March, the whole world has gone Wonderland crazy! Be first to join the fun in this colourful and curious adventure the whole family will enjoy.
Tickets, priced £7, are available now from the box office: 0845 226 3510
