THE WORK OF HAROLD PINTER tutored by Peter Wooldridge The course will explore the work of Harold Pinter with particular reference to his play Betrayal. Still widely regarded as one of his greatest works, the play charts Pinter’s seven year affair with the television presenter Joan Bakewell. The course will also touch on the recently published memoirs of Lady Antonia Fraser and Bakewell’s autobiography The Centre of the Bed.
