Classic romantic comedy comes to the stage

Classic romantic comedy comes to the stage Loved by millions the world over, When Harry Met Sally, continues to be one of the best romantic comedies of all time, and now the iconic film is brought to life in an exciting stage adaptation at the New Theatre from Tuesday 20 – Saturday 24 April.

A stunning sound track by jazz sensation Jamie Cullum and his brother Ben accompanies this hilarious tale of two New Yorkers and their friendship that develops from a platonic relationship into something more as their paths in life repeatedly cross.

Hopeless romantics will love this tender, poignant and comical love story, faithfully adapted from the much-loved Oscar winning film. This irresistible comedy stars Sarah Jayne Dunn who is best known for her role as Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks. Sarah is joined by Rupert Hill who audiences may remember as Jamie Baldwin in Coronation Street and who appeared at the New last summer in the psychological thriller Deceptions.

This warm and wonderfully witty play has all the wisecracking sassiness you’d expect, as the film celebrates its 21st year, will Harry and Sally finally answer the burning question - Can a man and a woman ever just be friends?
