Saturday June 5 at 7pm, The Singing Bones The Devilís Violin Company (master storyteller Daniel Morden, musicians Oliver Wilson-Dickson, Sarah Moody and Luke Carver Goss) present a timeless tale of secrets and lies, of love and hate told to the haunting accompaniment of violin, accordion and cello. Saturday June 19 at 7pm, Merchant of Venice Theatre Set-Up produce this famous comedy in the light of the Hebrew Kaballah Tree of Life, an ancient mystic system well known in Shakespeare's day. The play is costumed in Venetian carnival style with music by Mozart played on a harp. Tickets £9 and £6. Friday June 25 at 7pm, Little Rumba A band to entertain and delight any audience that has its musical wits about it - jazz, folk, blues, roots and world music all rolled up together in a unique style. Tickets £9 and £5. Friday July 2 to Sunday July 4, Family Shakespeare Festival Three days of collaboration, communication, experimentation and enjoyment, using scenes from Shakespeare's plays as a springboard for communication and debate. Family is currently a hot issue and this festival offers all ages a chance to enjoy performances in the magical Willow Theatre and explore complex issues through workshop sessions in a non-threatening and empowering framework. Dance, drama, art, music and food - something for all the family. Saturday July 31 at 6pm, A Taste of Dahl The Big Friendly Giant, Tony Pedley, takes an entertaining autobiographical look at the favourite childrenís writerís life. Aimed specifically at key stage 2 children it will appeal to kids of all ages. Including many excerpts from the well-loved books, Tony brings to life the man and his craft. Tickets £8 and £4. Saturday August 14 at 7pm, Pebbles and Pennies Some people are given diamonds in the middle of the night while others watch beautiful women dancing on stormy beaches. Some take midnight rides with long-dead lovers or find their fortune in a forest deep in bluebellsÖ... Storyteller Cat Weatherill joins spellbinding songstress Emma Heath (guitar, vocals) and foot-stomping rhythm king Mark Davies (bodhran, cajon) to present a rollercoaster ride through European stories with live music and song. Saturday August 21 at 7pm & Sunday August 22 at 4pm, Twelfth Night Following wonderful reviews for their As You Like It, The Living Willow Community Company brings their unique and accessible flavour to this favourite of Shakespeare's comedies. Tickets £8 and £4. Sunday September 12 at 2pm, Apple Day Musical, gastronomic and spiritual sustenance with stalls, entertainment, bar and barbecue.
