Wales Arts International is pleased to announce the release of the new International Opportunities Fund guidelines - an open application fund for international activity. From 1st April 2010, individual artists and members of arts organisations based in Wales will be able to apply to Wales Arts International for up to £3000 to undertake international travel for a broader range of activities including: • Presenting work at significant international venues, events and showcases. This could include music performances, visual art exhibitions or readings that represent a significant opportunity for the artist to develop their international practice. • Artists working in any artform delivering collaborative projects with practitioners, producers or presenters outside the UK. • Research and development with partners overseas with a view to future collaboration. • International residency projects aimed at the development of the artist’s practice.
