NYDW is seeking to select up to 15 young dancers aged between 16 – 21 years for an intensive, two-week residency in July 2010 during which they will work with NYDW Artistic Director, Errol White, to create and perform a brand new piece of choreography. Regional auditions for NYDW 2010 will be held on 8 May (Cardiff), 9 May (Conwy), 15 May (Carmarthen) and 16 May ( Cardiff). Applicants should be able to demonstrate active involvement with dance at an intermediate/high level, and must be available for the full two-week residency (19 – 31 July 2010) Applicants should have their family home in Wales, live in Wales or be studying in Wales to be eligible for NYDW.
