Welsh Independent Dance announcement of Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas patronage
Welsh Independent Dance (WID) is delighted to announce that Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas AM, the Presiding Officer of the Welsh Assembly Government, will begin a term serving as the organisation’s patron from June 2010.

WID will be hosting a reception to mark the occasion on Saturday 29th May at Chapter Arts Centre, alongside a performance of Dance Roads. Dance Roads will present the work of five emerging choreographers from Canada, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands and Wales. The performance has already received fantastic reviews from Montreal and will be the contemporary dance event of the season. Representing the UK on this tour is Wales’ Cai Tomos with his solo work ‘Calon’ meaning heart in Welsh.

Dance Roads Tour 2010 is showing at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff on Saturday 29th May. Performances at 3pm & 8pm.
