Swansea Grand Theatre Summer Repertory Season 2010 Tuesday 20th - Saturday 24th July, 7.30pm

The Late Edwina Black - A gripping thriller by William Dinner and William Morum. The plot thickens when there is suspicion over the sudden death of Edwina Black. However, as the tale unravels more details, the suspects start a series of accusations, explanations and outbursts leading to a tense atmosphere. Starring Richard Walsh (London's Burning)



Tuesday 27th - Saturday 31st July, 7.30pm

It's Never Too Late - A comedy By Ron Aldridge.

What happens when your husband leaves you for a younger woman? How do you cope with the realisation that time is not on your side? This funny, and at times very tender, play explores the belief that 'it's never too late' and follows Susan, as she attempts a new start in life. Starring - Joanna Van Gyseghem (Duty Free), Jeffrey Holland (Hi-De-Hi) and Judy Buxton (On the Up)

Tuesday 3rd - Saturday 7th August, 7.30pm

Inside Job - A classic thriller by Brian Clemens.

What starts out as a simple act of theft, rapidly spirals into an intrigue of diamonds, murder, bluff and double-bluff. 'The Mousetrap meets Lock Stock in an astonishing plot that twists and turns like a demented snake' Three bombs. Three killers. Three motives...only one possible outcome. Starring Matt Healy (Emmerdale), Christopher Villiers (Emmerdale) and Michelle Morris (The Knock).


Tuesday 10th - Saturday 14th August, 7.30pm

Love's a Luxury -A comedy by Guy Paxton & Edward V. Hoile.

This glorious classic period comedy is a delicious cocktail full of zest and fizz- guaranteed to send you home with a spring in your step and a twinkle in your eye. Events spin deliriously out of control and soon the whole cast are romping through a series of hilarious misunderstandings and mistaken identities. Starring repertory favourite, David Callister along with Giles Watling (Bread).


Tuesday 17th - Saturday 21st August, 7.30pm

Murdered to Death - A spoof thriller by Peter Gordon.

An hilarious spoof of the best of the Agatha Christie traditions, this whodunit twists and turns with side-splitting antics and ever-increasing merriment and confusion and is guaranteed to delight with an assembled all star cast featuring - Sandra Dickinson, Norman Pace, Victor Spinetti, Michelle Hardwick and Chloe Newsome.



Cabinet Member for Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Councillor Graham Thomas, commented "The Repertory Season is a big ingredient of the Grand's annual programme of events as well as a welcome addition to Swansea's summer events programme. This year's thrillers and comedies have what I think to be, one of the best line-up's of artistes in the last decade of Summer Repertory's - I'm looking forward to the entire season".
