Last November Powys County Council awarded Aimee Corbett with a small grant from the Chance to Create scheme to make this performance possible and since Hannah Morrison, Uta Baldauf and herself have been making and devising this extraordinary performance which relies heavily upon audience participation. Without them there would be no light, as they power all the energy for the performance by cycling the Space Engine/Bicycle which creates the electricity! They are becoming rather accomplished Sailors of the Stars and Universe having already toured to: Salisbury Arts Centre, The International Youth Arts Festival, Wotton Under Edge Arts, Tower House and Shakespeare Link. They will be touring to The Riverfront in Newport on Aug 31st, Sept 1st and Wyeside Arts Centre on Nov 27th. |
