The National Poet of Wales goes On The Edge.     

The National Poet of Wales goes On The Edge. Celebrating the 6th anniversary of his On The Edge project Michael Kelligan continues his Deadlier Than The Male series of script-held performances of plays by women writers with female directors. Opening with Gillian Clarke’s (The National Poet of Wales) Talking To Wordsworth. The play focuses on the poet’s experiences taking her poetry to schools, care homes and hospitals. Accompanying the play will be a revival of Hijinx Theatre’s Wishful Thinking. Once again Kelligan has bought together a great cast with Adrienne O’Sullivan, Nickie Rainsford, Claire Cage, Lynn Hunter and Richard Berry.

The plays will be directed by Gilly Adams
