Much ado about Nothing

Much ado about Nothing Shakespeare’s fine comedy Much Ado About Nothing hits Wyeside this autumn with dazzling style.

A war led by two battling brothers has ended and the winning soldiers return to Messina to throw themselves into the witty sports of music, flirting and love. Amidst the fiesta two marriages are arranged, but dark undertones surface as the losing brother plots his malicious revenge.

Will the humorous Neighbourhood Watch be able to save the day?

Can the dangerous influences of slander, suggestion and misconception be counteracted?

MPYT are renowned for their truthful, passionate and exuberant approach to the classics. Sexual politics are always under scrutiny and MPYT rise to the debate with gusto and flair. Mid Powys is reeling under the implications of the Arts Council of Wales’ funding cuts and Much Ado About Nothing will lift the spirits and celebrate Much that we might lose.

Come see, support, enjoy!
