THEATR BARA CAWS present ‘100’

Theatr Bara Caws is proud to present ‘100’ as their next production. This Welsh language adaptation of the play originally written by Neil Monaghan, Diene Petterle and Christopher Heimann has been authored by Elin Jones, daughter of the late great playwright Wil Sam Jones. An engaging mixture of movement and imagination, the piece promises to offer something sparklingly different but still vitally familiar to our Welsh audience. There are five actors in the production –
Ioan Gwyn, Mared Elliw Huws, Darren Stokes, Rhodri Trefor, Sioned Wyn. The show will be directed by Tony Llewelyn and choreographed by Sarah Mumford.

From your whole life, from all you’ve ever done, felt or thought … what is the one thing you treasure most?
The characters in ‘100’ are forced to choose and re-enact their memories, using only their bodies. We are magically transported to a dramatic motorbike race, a South American rainforest and a London tube train as each character in turn tries to capture their memory for eternity.
