“The best show I have seen in years!” “Thanks for an amazing night – you are beautiful, empowering and completely bonkers in equal measure!” Following the glitz and glamour of their Valentine Revue – the Follie Dollies return to the Glee Club with their Halloween Cabaret. The ghoulish girlies will be joined once again by comedy swing band The Hot Potato Syncopators - who will of course remain stiff upper lipped in the face of all things that go bump-and-grind in the night! With ghostly guests, spooky surprises and music through ‘til the witching hour, the Follie Dollies guarantee an evening of tease and terror that will bring even the most reluctant zombie back from the dead! Wales’ premier burlesque troupe, The Follie Dollies, are set to take Cardiff by storm next weekend as they arrive for their hotly anticipated ‘Follie Dollies Halloween Cabaret’, Straight off location for ITV1 performing and appearing as guest judges on Ten Mile Menu and also performing The Follie Dollies show in Monmouth earlier this month. The Follie Dollies Halloween Cabaret is a fast paced show starring 5 fresh and sassy girlies offering a unique mix of nostalgic acts. Led by Cardiff’s ‘Queen of Cabaret’, Miss Pretty S’vere, the evening promises to provide plenty of laughs, quirkiness and tassles! The Follie Dollies will be joined by the funniest Jazz band around ‘The Hot Potato Syncopators’ plus Gentleman Juggler and Escapologist Matt Pang. “We are extremely excited to return to The Glee Club, Cardiff.” said Miss S’vere. “The Follie Dollies show has already proved hugely popular with men and women of all ages throughout the UK, and after returning from the internationally acclaimed London Burlesque Festival where we were only one of two Welsh acts invited to perform, we have been busy developing our unique brand of sugar and spice, mixed with a pinch of humour and a whole lot of sauce!” In their bid to take over the world the Follie Dollies have just been awarded sponsorship from ‘Secrets in Lace’, the international lingerie suppliers based in America. After seeing the Follie Dollies perform the president of ‘Secrets in Lace’ was only too happy to show the girls the companies support.
